What is Alexa?
It is very important to register/claiming a website or a blog site on Alexa.com to decrease your site rank. On the other hand one of the best way to authenticate your ownership of your website or blog site is to claim it to Alexa.com. Now we are going to show you how submit your site on Alexa.com :
- At first go to www.alexa.com/register and register with your email id and nickname or Login with your Facebook id like the image below :
- After successfully registration you will be get a confirmation message on your email inbox like the image below. Go to your email inbox and Click the verification link to active your account.
- Then a page will be come up to create your password for Alexa.com. enter your password for on the "Set Password" and "Verify Password" box and submit it.
- After login on your account click on "Dashboard" Like the image below :
- Now click on “+ Add a Site” button at the right bottom of dashboard page.
- Then select the plan of your choice. I recommend the free plan like the image below :
- Then Enter Your Website address and click continue:
- Then a page will come up with your "verification id" to verify your site like the image below :
- If you are using blogger, go to your blog dashboard >> Template >> Edit HTML, Search for <head> tag, then copy and paste the code after <head> opening tag section Like nthe image below :
- Then come back to Alexa.com and click "Verify my ID". If you followed the instructions correctly a message will appear Like the image below . Click "Continue" to submit your site's basic and contact information.
- Then You have to fill up a form to giving information such as Blog Title, Blog Description and Public Contact Information.You can also choose your Alexa Traffic Rank in Country of your choice. Other features such as adding your blog logo and inserting more blog links are locked to premium accounts. Click "Save and Continue". Then your site will be successfully claimed.
